Blog 3: My dream job



Hi everyone! I hope you’re well, today I’m going to talk about my dream job. I study psychology and this is the career of my dreams. I’m excited about the possibility of being able to work so closely with people.  

Yet I don’t know specifically the area of psychology I want to choose, I like community psychology, organizational psychology and clinical psychology, but I like specifically the systemic approach.

About my dream job, I’m not sure yet, but I would like a job where I can help people and, also, I can meet new places.

At the moment, the only idea that I have is that I want to do a postgraduate study in another country. Maybe, I would like to do a postgraduate course about clinical psychology, related to the systemic approach, or about disaster intervention.

Fortunately, I still have a few months to think about the specific area of the psychology in which I want to work. But I admit that the idea about having to choose one area of psychology next year makes me nervous and anxious.

Anyway, It is difficult to choose my dream job as a psychologist, because many things can be done from psychology. I hope to have some clear ideas soon.

This is all about my dream job. I'm sorry I can’t tell you more about my dream job at this moment.

Blog 2: The best concert ever

Hi everyone! Today I talk about Frontera Festival: my best concert ever.  I went to Frontera Festival in 2015 with my best friend, Melissa, and more friends. In this occasion It was in Club Hípico of Santiago, Chile.   The Frontera Festival unites a lot of artists, but in this opportunity I went to see firstly Natiruts and Ana Tijoux. Natiruts is a Brazilian band of reggae and my favorite song is "Sorri, Sou rei". Ana Tijoux, for her part, is a Chilean-French composer and singer of hip.hop or rap, but truly I think it is impossible to classify her music. I can´t choose a favorite song of her, because in reality I like all her songs.   I remember the atmosphere during the festival, It was psychedelic. All the people were happy and relaxed, and enjoyed the different artists. I felt entranced because It was the first festival of my life and I was with very funny friends, we enjoyed all day the artists, the food and the outdoor area. Blog 6: My experience learning English at university

Hi everyone, today I speak to you about my experience learning English at university and use of blogs. First, you shall know about my anxiety when I should speak English with other people, because when I’m not good at something it makes me nervous and I don’t like to do this in public. Now, in relation to my experience learning English at university, in the first and second level of the English program I learned vocabulary, but I don’t practice so much writing, listening and speaking. Probably the reason for that was the online modality. However, in the third level of the English program I put into practice writing, listening and speaking in English, and I like that. Also, I like the third level of the English program because I feel this class has a safe space, where I can practice the English language in public without the pressure about I need to know. Blog 1: The country I would like to visit

  Hi! My name is Catalina Caro, but you can call me Cata. I study psychology and today I speak about the country I would like to visit. I would like to go to France because I think this country is very interesting and amazing, I love their culture, architecture and I like the development of the psychology in their universities. In France they speak French but really I don´t speak their language, however there are institutes about French, in this place the people learn to speak the language. I would like to go to France to learn French and then study a postgraduate course about psychology and human rights or emergency and disaster, I don´t know yet. Also, I would like to visit the Louvre Museum and go to   parties in Paris. Also, I would like to visit other countries in Europe such as Spain, Italy, Greece and The Netherlands to meet their architecture and museums.   Thank for reading my blog! I see you soon :)
